Super busy restaurant. Best kebabs in town. I love their Bahraini kebab. Service is fast and the owner is very friendly. Only downside is the location. You gotta be lucky to find a parking spot.
Easy, cozy and nice place for a very casual sit in. Food is amazing and very economical. Perfect value for the money.
This supper iranian..grill counter..uae localls most like ustad special food
After reading all the reviews about this restaurant I decided to take my wife there for dinner. It was a weekend and the place was busy, but we managed to get a place to sit. We were so excited. Within minutes our order was taken and then one hour and twenty minutes later we left the restaurant without having dinner. These are my observations.Four families came after us. All of them were served but not in the order they came in. The last two families got served first. That’s when I realized that the manager was prioritizing service for a specific nationality. In fact the meal that we ordered was served to them minutes after they arrived. That hurt my feelings.I understand they were busy, I understand the manager did what he did because he thought it was good for business, I understand I was in the wrong attire. Such is life.
Best of the best 100%. Food is more than tasty snd perfect every time. The founder sons are like brothers to me. May God bless you all and may God have mercy on the soul of the founder.
One of the best places to eat a good meal in Dubai. Very authentic place, they serve Iranian food with their own touches. Very popular, established on 1978.
have not had SUCH good kabobs anywhere else. So so worth going to I would not ever miss it on a trip! They have sections where families can sit which is nice also. Food quantity is good and the decor inside is very cool in that there’s a ton of photos of famous people who have also visited the restaurant. Owners are very nice too! Def one of my favorite places to visit
No words to describe the taste of kebabs here. The customer service is beyond my imagination. We had ordered kebabs the one which are very famous here. My mom is a pure vegetarian so she didn't eat anything but the person in charge there offered her tea and dates. So thoughtful!! We were overwhelmed by there service and consideration
Like the Kubide Chicken an Mutton very much here.... Chicken tikka was not very special... Worth a try
The best food.The best owner.The best service.The best cucumber.The best reviewer.Thanks
Extremely value for the money , friendly owner, good atmosphere.A must visit if you haven't had proper Iranian food before
Very famous restaurents for kebabs... must to be visited once & have photos..😄
Wonderful, helpful staff! Very friendly!! Great food.
Amazing kebabs. 40+ years experience. Even the rice is good. Recommended.
Going there since they had only small outlet ... now with time they have grown .... having much bigger spacious dinning space and nearby paid parking space behind the new vacanity. Kebab and reception exceptional.
For Persian kebabs, there's no better experience than eating at @ostadi_1978. It's not just the food, but the eclectic ambience and super friendly hosts that make sure you keep coming back for more..This platter is the 'mix for 3' which has Kabab Khas (mutton marinated in yoghurt and barbequed and chicken marinated in yoghurt and barbequed), Joujeh Kebab (chicken cubes marinated in saffron and barbequed) and Sultani Kebab (mutton tenderloin and minced barbequed) amongst other delicious and perfectly cooked kebabs. Don't forget to order some saffron rice to go with it and the yummy chicken soup with dill and lentils
One of the best Iranian food I’ve tried in my whole life the staff was very friendly but I had difficulty finding a place to park my car
The huge crowd always in the restaurant speaks for itself. Hands down one of the best grills in Dubai and the UAE as a whole. Even more greater is the humility of the owner despite being one of the most successful restaurants in the country. A must try for grill lovers.
Great place for a meet-up with friends. My favourite dish is Joujeh Chicken Kebab and Chicken Kabab Khas. The flavours were really simple. Neither very spicy nor too bland. The service is quick and also the owner is also very friendly.
This is one of those rare mustvisit gems in Dubai. No food lover (correction.. meat lover) can (correction.. should) visit Dubai without giving this place a shoot out.
Best Iranian food ever! Staff are excellent and even the owner is taking care of customers which is a great touch 👌🏻 will definitely go again and again 👍🏻 please keep it up
Cheap and great grilled food along with great complimentary Entreè.
Amazing restaurant You can take pictures with Mr.UAE!Best food and then you can also get the Sulimani tea!
This restaurant has a great vibe seeing as it’s one of the oldest restaurants in Dubai! Food is great. Only problem is that there’s is less parking and all is laid. Plan your trip accordingly!!
A Dubai classic, this place more than lives up to its hype. The restaurant is a few decades old and is frequented by the who's who of Dubai. Fantastic food, and the owners offer personalized attention to every single customer - hallmark of an authentic restaurant.
Super busy! The taste is not the same as it used to be.Basically this is how it is with every restaurant now and then! As soon as they have made good bucks out of it they no more care about the quality.I totally remember the time of Ustad himself you could feel the real authenticity in the taste of the food!
Reputation is well deserved. Food was delicious. Simple and easy going place & clean place. Great value for money. No credit or debit cards. As a family, go for the mix 5, the Bahraini Mix. We also recommend the lentil soup. Thank you Ustad team for a memorable evening with great food.
Nice food are presented their but totally not advisable to be visited during rush because the service is very bad
One of very few old restaurants in Dubai. It’s a famous Iranian style kebab restaurant. Very casual place with a separate family sitting area. I wouldn’t say this is the most delicious kebab you can find in Dubai but they serve food that everybody can enjoy.
Good traditional place. Nice staff. Good food
Delicious dishes.. Surprisingly very affordable and friendly staffs.
A whole in the wall kebab house. Was absolutely fantastic food. Very clean and good quality meat. When I am back in Dubai I will come back for this unexpected treat. The decor of the restaurant was also interesting full of memories as it is littered with photographs showing the memories built in the resturant, as well as the various currencies from around the world. I can not reiterate how fantastic the food was here.
The place is very homey and uncomplicated. The servers do not speak English really fluently but I'm impressed with how they assist you. They show pictures of the best sellers and ask your preferences accordingly. And food is AHMAZING! 10/10 would come back again.
Very nice and interesting place. Different restaurant with many interesting photos. On the table you will see different currencies of the world. Good food and fresh dishes. suitable for family visits
I decided to visit this restaurant after I've seen many celebrities recommendations and their photos with the restaurant manager on the walls. The place has different style and the manager was friendly but the service is average.I was really shocked with the taste of food 😐 as it below the average for me and nothing special and many restaurant can offer better iranian flavour. For me I will not come again because I really disappointed and my friends blame to take them there. I saw many customers there, so nothing wrong to try. Remember we've different taste.
Food is good but service is not good people in the restaurent is busy in only parcels and they are not worried about dine in customers
This is a popular Iranian restaurant with kabobs and other items from Iranian cuisine. The food is good and the prices are cheap. This is a spot you go with freinds to have some good food. It's not a fancy place and they will kick you out once you're done with your food. There are always people in line waiting for seating and it kind of makes sense. It's cash only don't forget!
Lovely food. Its not about the hype but the taste. If you are an Asian avoid yoghurt based kebab. They are a bit sour to our taste
The best kebab restaurant i ever ate at, and very affordable
One of the oldest & first Iranian kebab place of Dubai. It has maintained the heritage of the area.
To find Parking is a real challenge then sit among the crowd and a Nice place to devour some mixed kebab platter while ogling and guessing the personalities in the pictures all around,
If you ever feel this place is overrated, eat those steaming lamb kebabs and your doubts will go away.
The kebab platter is basically the only thing on the menu that everyone orders. You can choose to have it with roti or saffron rice. Follow this up with some herbal tea and your meal is done. Service is quick and the prices are a bit on the higher side. But overall a must visit at least once for traditional Iranian kebabs.
The best Iranian restaurant here in dubai I was so enjoyed and all the celebrities they visit this place.1000% recommend to try 👌👍
Delicious kebabs, best in the town in a restaurant cum museum atmosphere.
Nice food here , but overrated many other restaurants serve better food for almost same prices
Overpriced and hyped place. Worst customer service. Quality of food not good as well. Many other better quality and friendly places.
Good food but bit expensive and too much waiting and also parking is a problem.
Highly over rated. By far the worst Iranian kebab we have ever had. Quite unedible. Couldn't finish the kebab or chicken. I would not recommend it.
Fantastic Iranian cuisine with great chicken and lamb kebab. Laban drinks were served too, and the overall atmosphere was really nice; I went as a family to a nice semi-private area where we could eat. The wait time wasn't too long too. Would recommend.
